Col . Sangeeta Singh, who picked up the brush in her childhood after seeing her father’s paintings, has organized many exhibitions in the country and abroad.
The captivating paintings made by the famous painter Sangeeta Singh were displayed for the visitors and art lovers at Jhangir Art Gallery in Mumbai.
During this time, a large number of art lovers, not only from Mumbai but also from all parts of the country, greatly appreciated the painting of painter Sunita Singh and expressed their best wishes.
The exhibition was inaugurated by renowned advocate and social worker Abha Singh by lighting the lamp.
On this occasion, retired IPS officer YP Singh, Colonel Shailendra Singh, Deputy Income Tax Commissioner Jaywantika Singh, Trainee IPS Isha Singh, Advocate Aditya Singh, Jahangir Art Gallery Secretary Mrs. Menon, Ravi Kaushal, Jaunita Kaushal, Sanjukta Barik etc. were present.
Painter Sangeeta Singh, who has enthralled the art lovers across the country and abroad with her paintings, says that she got fond of painting after seeing her father R.P.H. Raghuvanshi, who was a colonel in the army, making paintings.
His father used to do painting as a hobby and I too, inspired by him since childhood, I don’t know when I learned to use a brush.
Famous brushwoman Sangeeta Singh further tells that she started painting while living in Mizoram and has been painting for almost 20 years and has made thousands of paintings till now. Along with holding the first exhibition of my paintings in Delhi, till now I have exhibited in the art galleries of Bangalore, Lucknow, Mumbai as well as in many foreign countries including Austria, Italy, Turkey.
Painter Sangeeta Singh has learned the nuances of painting from renowned painter Guru Rameshwar Buta of Triveni Kala Sangam, Delhi. Sangeeta Singh has received Junior and Senior Fellowship as well as awards from the Government of India in the field of painting.
The paintings made by Sangeeta Singh are bought by art lovers at a price ranging from Rs 20 thousand to Rs 4 lakh. His paintings have the amazing ability to create a pleasant and vivid feeling from the color combination to the imagination of the viewers.

Painter Sangeeta Singh’s husband retired from the army with the rank of Colonel and works as a lawyer, son Shashank Singh is also in the field of law and daughter Jaywantika Singh is working as Deputy Income Tax Commissioner in Mumbai.
Even after becoming influential in the field of painting, Sangeeta Singh created Vijayraj Foundation and works to encourage emerging painters aged between 20 to 35 years by rewarding them.
