The strategic meeting was attended by senior leaders including Shri Nileshbhai Kanataria (Member, National Executive) and Shri Suhas Bane (Vice President, Maharashtra JD(S)).

In its inaugural meeting, the committee pledged to champion key civic and socio-economic challenges affecting everyday Mumbaikars, with a special emphasis on addressing Gen Z and youth-centric aspirations.
The leadership outlined a 5-point public action charter:
Food Security: Ensuring seamless, transparent ration distribution for low-income families.
Public Transit Relief: Demanding expanded services to tackle severe peak-hour overcrowding in local trains and BEST buses.
Urban Roads: Demanding immediate repairs for Mumbai’s deteriorating roads and potholes.
Utility Tariffs: Opposing steep electricity rates and advocating fair utility pricing.
Healthcare Access: Fighting exorbitant private hospital charges and pushing for affordable healthcare for all.
